Autumn @ Our Stonington Farmers Market

Blue Zee Farm's got gorgeous peppers now...

Don’t let the weather report stop you from eating healthy. The Stonington Farmer’s Market is open for business this Friday from 10AM to Noon. Blue Zee Farm has MOFGA Certified veggies like the gorgeous peppers and tomatoes you see here.

5 Star Nursery & Orchard

Another MOFGA Certified vendor, 5 Star Nursery & Orchard, might still have peaches and definitely has apples and vinegars. With the state celebrating Apple Week you’ll want to keep your doctor away by eating an apple each day.

Broccoli and lettuce from Blue Zee Farm

You may not realize it, but locally grown lettuce is still available at our market, too! And broccoli. Did we mention it’s organic MOFGA Certified from Blue Zee Farm?

Libra Woods has a bounty of produce on hand.

Libra Woods has delicious fingerling potatoes and other colorful produce including scallions, onions, and tomatoes to name a few.  And Black Dinah Chocolatiers has a full complement of their fine chocolates available.

Black Dinah Chocolatiers are still showing at the Stonington Farmers Market

You can purchase your loaves of Daily Bread at the top of the hill near the market entry on School Street.

You won’t find a finer selection of quality meats and goat cheeses than you can buy from Sunset Acres Farm & Dairy at the Stonington Farmers Market. Our market president Bob Bowen will be open at the market thru October 14th.

Sunset Acres Farm has your cheeses and meats.

And lucky for us, the gals from 44 North Coffee are die-hard vendors, too! It’s not too late to experience their innovative dripping technique with exotic coffee blends individually brewed for you and served in a mason jar. These vendors were recently featured in Maine Magazine, too. Let’s face it folks: the Stonington Farmers Market is the happening place to be this Friday from 10AM to noon!

There are still plenty of crafts vendors showing here, too. It’s a great time to stock up on Christmas gifts. Remember, buy local!
