SAT, JUNE 13 Medicinal Plant Walk & Workshop
10 AM Scott’s Landing Join Brighid Doherty, herbalist and gar- dener, on a walk the second Saturday of each the month, May – October (no July walk) at Scott’s Landing. You will learn to identi- fy, prepare and use local medicinal plants for everyday health. Each month will provide a slightly different focus depending on the available plants. Common seasonal weeds, such as Burdock, Dandelion, and Yellow Dock and wildflowers, such as Goldenrod, Queen Anne’s Lace and St John’s Wort plus many more will be discussed. All ages are welcome. The trails may be wet or muddy. We will walk rain or shine. $5 Suggested Donation. Pre- registration requested, call 348-2455.
