This Friday September 7th you have not one, not two,  but THREE reasons to visit Stonington, Maine! Why not make a day of it —or even a weekend?—and begin with the Stonington Farmers Market from 10AM to Noon. You’ll discover local produce, specialty foods, and crafts at the best farmers market in Maine.

Next head downtown to participate in Stonington Galleries & Studios First Friday art tour. Galleries are open late until 7PM and include Stonington Farmers Market vendors Art By Katy and Geoffrey Warner Studio. There are special events planned by both of these artists. Art By Katy will have guest artist jewelry designer Maureen Farr and her “Vincent’s Ear Gallery” in a vintage Airstream trailer. There will also be a free takeaway limited edition print for every guest that comes to Art By Katy during First Friday event. Geoffrey Warner Studio is having a lobster festival with live music during the First Friday event. Other Stonington Galleries & Studio information including a map of the self guided tour can be found at their website.
