Wooden You Know It

We’ve got four great wood workers at the Stonington Farmers Market. For wood turned bowls go to see Jorge Casteneda at JC Turnings. He’s also got garlic grown in his garden. Geoff Warner Studio is reknowned for his Owl Stool (which can be purchased made or you can take a workshop and finish your own!).

For wood grain novelty serving boards you want Charles Read of Farview Farm.

In addition to the gorgeous boards Charles’ wife Anne has her books of beautiful photographs of the region. To top it off, you’ll want to see Spoon Bob to get some handcrafted wooden spoons and spatulas. Wooden you know you’d find all this and more at the Stonington Farmers Market every Friday from 10AM to Noon.
