First Friday July 6th–Why Not Make it a Day in Stonington?

Come down to the Stonington Farmers Market this Friday from 10AM to Noon and then stay in Stonington for lunch followed by the 4-7PM First Friday gallery hop. Why not? You’ll have a blast! July 6th the ten Stonington Galleries & Studios are open from 4-7PM. Two of those galleries are Stonington Farmers Market vendors—Art by Katy the painter and Geoffrey Warner Studio the furniture maker.

Geoffrey Warner Studio will be featuring the grand opening of his new studio wing and also live music throughout the evening with plenty of Owl Stools to sit on!

Both studio galleries are featuring owls this Friday—Katy Allgeyer is previewing her “Branching Out” series and telling stories about her barred owl babies while Geoff Warner is featuring his Owl Stools and the grand opening of his new studio wing.Geoff will have live music throughout the evening that is sure to last beyond 7PM (hint: make it your final destination after visiting the other Stonington Galleries & Studios—you can find a map at their website).

“Chang & Eng” a new painting from the “Branching Out Series” from Art By Katy at 21 Weed Field Rd in Stonington. See more and here the real life story of the baby barred owls that share her backyard. First Friday galleries open from 4-7PM
